Don't let that phase you, though; just ask your Rancho Estero staffer if he or she knows of any other lightly used breaks and you may suddenly find yourself with your own big break on a small, out-of-the way island.Coiba Island has several good breaks to surf; however, since they are also the center of the Coiba National Park, you will likely find people lined up there waiting their turns as well. Your Rancho Estero staffer will know where the alternatives are both on Coiba and on Santa Catalina.
There are many small islands with good breaks available for your use; however, you will have to rely on your Rancho Estero staffer to help your find the break that's right for you. As you work with the staff you may find that you all you need is a good beach chair and an umbrella near the front of the hotel, or you may find that you may need a day trip to a small island where you can be by yourself and relax with your Kindle, book or favorite music.This, perhaps more than anything else, is the beauty of this area. There is so much to do, if you want to do something, or there is so much not to do that you may not do anything.
